Storytelling and skittles
Share a Story Month: Saturdays in May
Listen to Cumbrian ghost stories told by the maid and manservant.
Write your own story and enter it in our competition. Winning entries will be on display at the house and on the website.
Storytelling sessions on Saturday 24 & Saturday 31 May, from 12.00pm and 2.00pm.
Lovely lavender bags
Create your own sweet smelling lavender bag with flowers from our garden. A perfect gift for that special person in your life!
Drop in activity all day on Monday 26 and Thursday 29 May.
A bounty of Butterflies and bugs
Go butterfly mad in William's childhood garden and make a butterfly or bug mask!

Fabulous family portraits
Do you think you'd look gorgeous in a Georgian gown or terrific in a tricorn hat? Come and have a family portrait with a difference. A superb souvenir of how your family might have looked in a different age.
Admission and £5 for digital photos on Wednesday 28th May, at 11.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-3.30pm.

Talk on Georgian recycling - be inspired about how to do your bit to save the planet. Every little counts! Also, bring your bus ticket and claim your double discount on public transport!
